About Sean Taylor and Rock Idaho |
My Background
I have always possessed a drive to work hard and be my best. I grew up in a small farming community, where my dad was both mayor of one town and Chief of Police of another. My parents and grandparents instilled in me a strong, blue collar work ethic. For nearly seven grueling years, I worked the graveyard shift at a grocery store and simultaneously attended college in preparation for a career in education.
I completed a BA in Social Science (which included studying Spanish in Mexico City), two teaching credentials, and eventually a Master’s Degree in Education. In my 11 year teaching career, I worked in many capacities in the education field, including positions as a teacher, teacher trainer, Special Education teacher, and a charter school developer/supervisor. I taught in private, public, charter and independent study schools.
As a charter school supervisor, I helped locate, negotiate and develop seven charter school sites. The processes involved in finding locations for new schools excited and intrigued me. My interest in real estate grew, and it soon led to a significant career change.
The best part about real estate for me is the relationships that I am able to build. It is fun to get know new clients, to be a part of their lives, and to assist them with their real estate needs. Even with the changes in technology and the fast pace of today’s world, this is still a business of helping people! |
My Family
My wife and I have four wonderful children, two boys and two girls, who we home school. As a family, we enjoy fishing, going to parks, bike rides, going to and watching BSU football games, attending church functions, visiting friends, reading and playing games as a family, skiing, and occasionally camping out. |

My Team
I employ a full time licensed assistant. This frees me up to spend more time with my clients. I also employ a transaction coordinator to make sure your home sale or purchase go as smooth as possible.

My Accomplishments
Since 2006, which was my first full-time year in real estate, I have been a “Top Producer”. Even though the market took a dive shortly after I entered real estate, I was able to continue as a Top Producer in Ada County every year since then.
Since 2012, I have been recognized as a lifetime member in the Boise Regional Realtor's "Circle of Excellence".
I specialize in working with sellers, buyers, investors, short sales, and foreclosures. Though I am a Top Producer in Ada County, I also sell homes in adjacent counties and I am available to help you, whatever your need might be! Please feel free to call me at 208-340-0000 or visit me at RockIdaho.com. I would love to help!
